We supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses across the full breadth of our research — natural language processing, with a special focus on multilinguality and low-resource languages, vision-language models, and interpretability, fairness, and robustness.
Bachelor's Theses
A focused first research project — typically reproducing, extending, or carefully evaluating an existing method on a well-scoped problem. You will get hands-on with modern NLP tooling under close supervision.
Master's Theses
A deeper, more open-ended research effort that can lead to novel findings and, in the best case, a publication. Topics are often connected to our ongoing research projects and collaborations.

If we accept you for the thesis at our Chair, we will meet to scope a concrete topic that fits your goals and our ongoing work, and agree on a timeline.
